Hi @Onan38,
At this time there is no bundle packages as DIRECTV NOW is a standalone service. Let us know if you have any additional questions.

I currently have U-verse TV and Internet and as a result have no data cap. If I go with DirectvNOW will I now incur the 1TB data cap?

Hi @Kappaz,
If you replace U-verse TV with DIRECTV NOW service then you will have a data allowance based on your Internet plan level. If you’re a DIRECTV NOW and AT&T Wireless customer, streaming most DIRECTV NOW movies and programs over the AT&T wireless network won't count against your data usage allowance. It’s one of the many benefits of being an AT&T and DIRECTV NOW customer. For more information, check out our Help Center's Data Free TV FAQs for the DIRECTV NOW app.

This doesn't really help at home though. I can't use my AT&T mobile data to stream from my AppleTV. How much data will DirectvNOW use? This is a huge issue.

You stream on Apple TV or your mobile device, from the Direct TV now app.
Data through direct TV app is zero rated.
And you can either cast or mirror to your Apple TV if you have an iPhone, or cast to a chromecast from mobile.

One of the reasons that Comcast & AT&T internet plans suck.

@lizdance40 @dulanic And we know this for certain? So my AppleTV is attached to my AT&T Home wifi network - that data DOES NOT count against my cap? Because I've got a lot of customer service folks saying it WILL count against the cap.

This is a bit confusing as AT&T mobile allows for free streaming.
I'm talking about my home AT&T wifi which has a 1TB datacap. Will streaming from my AppleTV, which connects to my home wifi, not mobile, count against the datacap for the AT&T home internet?

Oh no, it's not confusing. There is competition in the wireless market, there is little to no competition in the internet service area since you typically only have 1 MAYBE 2 companies. I have 3 thankfully, so I can avoid the large data capped companies.
So short answer, of course it's going to count against your cap /w AT&T and/or Comcast.

I'm lucky enough to have three as well - currently have Verizon. But they charge an arm and a leg for channels I don't want. I can save almost $60 a month just by switch to AT&T's internet. The datacap just really makes me nervous.
I'd be less nervous if I knew for certain if the app running through the home AT&T wifi didn't count toward it. It seems sort of silly that it wouldn't

And you can either cast or mirror to your Apple TV if you have an iPhone, or cast to a chromecast from mobile.
You're correct that AirPlay or mirrioring from an iPhone would use the phone's data, but casting on chromecast uses the internet connection of the chromecast device, so if it is connected to home wifi rather than the phone's hotspot, it will use the home wifi connection and not the phone's data.

@dwdrums36 It's zero rated on MOBILE.
You can stream from your mobile device, mirrored to your large screen. As long as you use the data free TV option, it doesn't count against your wireless plan.
Currently I have not seen any option for zero rating on home internet with ATT. (I don't have ATT internet, so it wouldn't help me anyway)

Right on the Chromecast. I know all of that - Really all I want to know is if AT&T is going to count data going through my AppleTV DirectTVNow app against my 1tb home limit.
The reason I think it is probably zero rated is because it seems awfully dumb to have someone mirror their phone to watch a show as opposed to just straight therough the app.

@lizdance40 Thanks. I've inquired with them and they said that it WILL count toward the home data limit. Again, I don't have AT&T either but I can save a TON of money by switch to AT&T internet from Verizon. I'm just nervous about the cap and as I said, it seems awfully silly to stream from your phone anyway.
Thanks all.
