Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 Sunday Ticket Apps

So, here we are again with a new season upon us and no Sunday Ticket apps for Windows 8 or Windows Phone 8.  With the increased marketshare (and Microsoft giving $$$ to developers), DirecTV continues to ignore this market.  Please fix this glaring hole, as Microsoft and the NFL appear to be working more closely together to bring content to the Microsoft ecosystem (i.e Xbox One) and I certainly know DirecTV would lose a customer if they can provide a better experience with watching NFL games on Sunday.

As far as smartphone platforms, Apple has about 40% of the market, Android has about 50%. Windows has about 3%. It's easy to see why they have put no effort into it. Similar numbers for tablets.

This isn’t meant to be a discussion of who’s ecosystem has what larger percentage of the market. As a customer of DirecTV I'm asking a legitimate question.

DTV does have a system in place where if customers call in for suggestions, complaints, etc, or email them, they DO keep track of it. The only way to show that the windows phone market share is worth the expense (each app for each store demands extensive r&d, made harder by the fact that while iphones all run for only iphones, and have (mostly) the same updates, android, and to a lesser extent, windows phones, have SEVERAL different phones that EACH app has to work for, or else it risks being removed.) It is possible that DTV is even currently testing for windows phone, now that it is holding more and more market share each quarter. BUT you still should call or email DTV to let them know your concerns and have anyone else you know with a windows phone and DTV do the same. DTV does listen, you just have to make yourself heard through the correct pathways.
