Can you mount satellite dish on a metal roof?

my shingled roof was damaged and I am getting a metal roof and need to know if satellite dish can be mounted on roof that is metal

No, the only mount that works on a metal roof is a sled mount on a flat roof.

Correct, DTV is unable to mount to a metal roof. I have seen customers build supports and have a private contractor install the dish, but due to your roof a pole mount will be free.

From a previous experience, i will never let anyone install anything on my roof!  Period!  By the time you notice or see damage 10plus years later, .... there's more damage behind the scene before you notice damage.  Period!
