wi fi connection with internet

Aloha I have wi fi on computer and want to connect my direct TV receiver to my internet . What do I need to do to make this happen ? TV is not Wi Fi but connected to receiver with wires  I have a direct tv home adapter dca2sro-01   not connected to anything but wireless westfall 7500 with a blue cable  .which are not connected to anything yet

what model of receiver do you have. look for the model number inside the access card door..

you can either connect an ethernet cable directly from your router, or if you want wireless, (not preferred) you can call DirecTV and order the wireless cinema connection kiy
