I went through the phone support. Tech is coming Monday. I want tv NOW. Any help?

It would help to have more details ....

  • What models DirecTV Receivers/DVRs do you have?
  • Do they all do this?
  • On all channels, or just one?
  • Any on-screen error messages?  Exact symptoms?
  • Have you always had this problem? When did it start?

Yeah guess that would help. Sorry. I have a genie. It started last week. We

rest several times. It finds over 2000 errors and repairs but then keeps

freezing. The other TVs have no picture at all. No error msg. I'd does not

matter the channel. I have noticed it gets worse when we press the guide

button.

Any time a receiver, DVR or Genie finds errors when reset it's bad news.  I'd guess the tech will replace the Genie.
