Satellite dish

I was told to take all equipment to a FedEx or UOD store. Does this include the satellite dish on the roof?

No.  The dish and its cables are yours to do with what you wish.

If you do decide to remove the dish, it's best to leave the mounting plate in place to avoid roof leaks.

Re: Satellite dish

I have same question but my dish is on a pole in the back yard.  I have been asked to remove it by the people who are buying my house.  I am just now cutting off my directv service.  there are wires going into the dish.  Arent they live wires.  Wont I electrocute myself if I chop them off or try to undo them?  What to do???
