Remotes Stopped Working


Remotes Stopped Working

My remotes (Older non-Genie, bought at Walmart) stopped working.  Batteries are OK.  I unplugged the receiver and left it off for 15 minutes.  Then I powered it up and it worked.  Then this morning it didn't work.  I unplugged and replugged and still didn't work.  Is my receiver in need of replacement?

Are there any other remotes you can try to use in your home?

Also, is the remote you're using turning on your TV but not working with the receiver, or is it not communicating with any of your devices? Also, what type of receiver are you using?
