Are you getting a message to refresh your receiver, or is something else going on?
www.directv.com > log into your account> My Equipment > Refresh Receiver
Once done it should give a message about it may take up to 5 minutes.
As a note, if you have any Mini Genie Clients, they have no separate refresh as they are extensions of the main Genie.

I am already signed into the web site and when I click on your link to refresh my receiver it loops me back to the sign in page.
