On Demand Content not available

On Demand Content not available

I have reset the receivers. Nothing. I’ve reset my internet modem even though it’s working flawlessly. Nothing. I’ve just waited per the advice from “tech support”. Nothing.  How do I get On Demand to work?

Are you having issues viewing specific On Demand content, or are you unable to view any On Demand content? Are you getting an error message on screen when attempting to access On Demand? Pleas let us know more so we can assist you further!

All On Demand content.

The channel populates and shows all content option. Them you click on a show or movie and it always says “Sorry! We have no programs at this time that match the filter you selected.”

Thank you for clearing that up for us. We are happy to help you get your On Demand up and running. Check the status of the internet connection to your DIRECTV receiver. Press Menu > Settings & Help > Settings > Internet > Reconnect/Connect Internet.

If you are connected, we recommend resetting your DIRECTV receiver. This and more troubleshooting tips can be located within the link here. Please let us know if this is helpful to you.

I literally said I’ve done all those steps already in my initial complaint.

Same here!!! They sent me a new receiver it didn’t work either...according to a supervisor it is a nation wide problem!

Same thing happened to me..they replaced my receiver, and sent another tech out to tell me it was a nation wide issue...especially with new accounts

Hello @Cmurph,

Just so we have all of our bases covered, you mentioned you have reset your receiver, but has been a factory reset?

Factory resetting will normally resolve issues with On-Demand not working.

Please let us know if you've also tried a factory reset and if not, please do so and let us know if this resolved your issue.

I have the exact same problem since installed. Three different genies. Two hr54 700 and one hr54 400. Exact same problems since install July 29.  Three different tech had no clue, well not really they all said they couldn’t fix it. Upgraded to “engineering” but I’ve heard that before. I’m afraid they’re just string us along.  Yes I’ve reset reboot red button reconnected etc etc etc. nothing changes. Either no programs match the filter or receiver not ready for downloads etc etc on every VOD station or playback from beginning.  So when are you going to admit it’s the new 54 genies and quit telling us it’ll be fixed.  ??????
