My Smart TV ROKU stopped transmitting any sound to my TV. The TV sound works properly with antenna TV or Streaming, but not with Direct TV. I can re-set the TV by pulling the plug and re-starting, then Direct TV works again. Please advise. Remember, the TV works fine until I turn on the Genie Box. Thank you

What genie model do you have?
Have you recently updated your genie?

We suggest doing a red button reset on your receiver. You can follow this Reset Your DirecTV Receiver support guide to properly perform this reset. If you still experience sound issues let us know!

Nope. Nada. No fix.
I had this problem several months ago. How I resolved the issue , I have no idea! Pandora has been behaving until yesterday ! Ugh!

No sound unless I hit thr red button,i have to do this every day, just barely got directv 2 day ago, I think I should of went with dish Network,this is so annoying

The TV was working before we left on vacation and had the service suspended while out of town. Service was reactivated and tried to turn on the TV and picture came on but no sound. Tried to turn it off and then back on but same. The mute is off. Help is appreciated.
