I cannot view my local channels but the rest are working ok.

Of course, this happens while trying to watch my team on Fox.

We need more info

  1. what model of receiver do you have. look for the model number inside the access card door..
  2. what is the error message on the local channels
  3. do you have other receivers?
  4. are they working OK?

First thing to try is resetting your DVR/Receiver using the red button behind the front panel access card door. See if that helps. ( on side panel on H25 receivers).

I have the same issue.  My local Fox, NBC, and CBS stations are all black but, my ABC station is still on.  That's nice if I wanted to watch some guy surfing but, I want to watch the Broncos game.  Why did I switch from Uverse again?

A few of my local channels crapped out about an hour ago. Channel 4, 5, 8 and 30. I was watching the Jets at the Titans, but not any more!

Same here for me in Indianapolis. HD TIVO. Lost FOX, NBC and CBS. So no Broncos game. Restart and reauthorized and nothing. No Picture. No error message. Nothing but black screen.

This is definitely a Directv issue and not an isolated incident.  Newsflash......NFL is pretty much the only reason people put up with Directv.  Mess with our ability to see games and you will hemorage subscribers.

Re: I cannot view my local channels but the rest are working ok.

My locals are out as well.  I just ordered NFL Sunday ticket this weekend.  Can't get the Broncos game on Sunday Ticket - says it's blacked out.  No problem - it is shown on my local Fox station, right?  Wrong - Black screen on my local Fox as well.  Tried calling DirecTV and continue to get a busy signal.  EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED.

Re: I cannot view my local channels but the rest are working ok.

I do not have any picture on 11 (NBC) and 53 (Fox) in the Pittsburgh Market.  There is no error message and resetting did not help.  Also, the 1800-531-5000 Customer Service Number has hung up on me twice.
