GENIE 2 SERVER PROBLEMS SOLVED

It seems I might have solved my problems with slow speed pixelation and other issues now. What I ended up doing was putting the Genie 2 server on a simple timer.,  It turns off power to the each night from about 3-4 am. I guess that causes a reset / reboot because since doing it no more issues. Silly that it has to be done but maybe a software update one day will solve it to.

Re: GENIE 2 SERVER PROBLEMS SOLVED

I don't understand why this would be an acceptable solution to an equipment issue that is supposed to be the most up-to-date technology offered by DTV. Really having second thoughts on 4K upgrade to my 20+ years DTV service. Do I need to look elsewhere????? Can't you guys figure this out??
