DVR Recording issues ... ughwhatnext

We have shows recorded across all four major networks and then USA and several others. However we are noticing that some shows, example Seal Team (local channel 11 in DFW) is not recording. But, we found Seal Team also listed in our “Manage Recordings” as being recorded on “All Channels” of which are not in our package!

Easy to say go online and record shows but that’s not why we have been with Directv for 12+ years. It has been messed up since the merge with AT&T and now we are forced to watch OnDemand for these shows, and the Networks are leaving some of them up available for less than a week after original showing.

What’s up, your CUSTOMERS want this fixed, not given boiler plate responses from Customer Service and told for months you are working to fix the problem.

Hello @ughwhatnext!

Thank you so much for reaching out and joining us here on the Community Forums! I am sorry to hear some of your favorite shows are not being recorded. I know how important it is to keep up on your shows as I am the same way.

There is a way to manually, to do so, open the guide and choose the channel the show is on. Select it and set the recording. We so also recommend our Troubleshoot & Resolve Tool. If you are still in need of assistance, please let me know.

Hope this helps!

I’m having the same issues, it’s not anything more than a software issue that ATT will not address. I’m ready to institute my on solution by moving to dish or cable.

We have had this issue for 6 months. When I called Directv they promise a software fix is coming. You have to reset the box to get you shows to show up in you recorded list.

I have had it, I am reseting every 3-4 days just so I can see my recorded shows.....

This isn't specifically about the "missing recording" bug.  But fortunately the software with that fix is now rolling out.  I got it a few days ago, and many others are posting that they've received v0x114b with the fix. You should get it soon.
