I have a run of @ 250 feet using RG6 on a SWM 3LNB system setup 5 years ago.
Recently received a 775 error. Installed an inline amp that seems to have
worked so far.
Can I install a PI 29 volt instead of the existing 21 volt to compensate for
the voltage drop over this long run? Again I have a SWM 3LMB system
designed originally for 21 V.
Can the 29 V Pi harm my SWM 3LNB ?
Is Rg11 a better solution , although more expensive?

Hello there yes you better go with a 29V power supply if is more than 150 feet and no you have to use RG6 cable no rg11

Using the 29v pi is fine.
and yes you can use rg11 for really long runs, ignore the post that says otherwise

There are two factors at play when dealing with long cable runs. the first factor is power to the LNB. using the 29v should be OK and you should have no issues. the second factor is RF, the 29v power supply wont help you there, this is where RG11 might come into place. But @ 250 feet, I think you should be OK with RG6 as long as you dont over do it with the splitters

Should I take out the inline amp I just installed when I install the 29V PI?
My signal strength is only below 85 on a few of the 99 degree satellite transponders (74,76,77,78 on four transponders) all the 101 and 103 satellite transponders are above 85. Do you think RG11 would help on these signal strengths or is it not worth the effort?

Yes, remove the amp. it looks to me that you have a misaligned dish
