In September of 2015, the HDMI out on my Genie receiver stopped working. Tech support told me it was a known software issue. And did not record last night's X-Files. Is this a known problem? Does DirecTV have staff that reviews these forums or do I need to report this to them? The fix was to unplug and plug back in the receiver. Pretty disappointed that this thing has already failed in less than 1 week!

We have an older box and have recorded many, many decent movies and today the box died. Is there anyway we can "download" all the movies we had saved??????? You can hear the box like it is running but the blue light doesn't come on and no picture.

I have had DirecTV for 6 months and I still cannot use my login and password to access watchabc and BravoNow. All I get is an invalid userID and password combination message. I have attempted to call DirecTV and was offered no help. Is this problem fixable?
