I have a DTV HR-24 receiver I would like to connect to the internet. Can I hard wire the receiver directly to my router (Linksys 3200) or do I need some type of an adapter in between the units? If I need an adapter, what is it and how do I get one? Thanks

we have paid for an additional channel 220. Have re booted the system and also pressed the red reset. Button on the receiver. Cannot get any answer from direct TV help. Tried call their contact number many times but cannot get through can anyone help
