When I went to bed last night I was getting very few channels because of snow and/or ice on my dish. When i woke up this morning all I got on my TV was a blank screen. I could not connect to my guide or get any channels. Will the problem clearv on its own when the snow or ice starts to melt?

From Atkinson New Hampshire. Had snow yesterday, lost signal for a while, it came back fine, even HD. Then lost power (electricity) for a few hours later, signal never came back, even this morning. Still showing error 771 on all TVs in house. Tried rebooting.

I am trying to put a tv in a bedroom in my house that hasn't been used with DirecTV before and I have a wall jack that I have connected the DirecTV Box.the screen says"Searching for Satellite ". Does a technician need to come to my home and connect this wall jack to the DirecTV Satellite?

I am getting upgraded to a new Genie Box. My current box is experiencing major latency issues. Is there a way to save the shows we have saved on the current series manager so that they can be copied to the new box? If we cannot save them, then how do we manage this when many of the shows are not active at the moment? If we have to redo manually, are we able to do this onl...

We are not happy with the limited amount of Chinese programming at Directv. I have purchased both available Chinese packages for my wife, but there is so little to watch compared to Dish Network. When will DTV add more Chinese channels?

While watching our DIRECTV, the system randomly locks up or freezes for 10-30 seconds. When it finally unfreezes, it has skipped part of the show. If I try to fast forward or reverse it, it locks up again. This is day 3 of this issue. Do I need an equipment upgrade?

I started receiving the 771 message this morning on my Directv HD DVR. I never had any issuesuntil now. It seems that only the HD channels are having problems while the SD channels are fine.

I can see fox deportes ,but is not in my guide channels list, channel i get list .why and I cont record future programs. HELP PLEASE . I already refresh the reciver and nothing happen.

I just had 2 C41W-500 wireless Genies installed and they work great . I als have 2 RC66RX remotes and would like to switch from R to RF but that option does not appear in the settings. Is that not available for this combination?

We just had a day of wet, sticky snowfall and my dish is coated. At first, I was getting the "signal lost" messages on certain channels but now it looks like the receiver (Genie) has figured out what is going on because I'm getting the SD version of any channel I tune to. I don't remember this ever happening before. Is this a new feature? Will it know to revert back to HD...
