Ever since the switch from standalone Android app to the combined DirecTV app, the Genie Go feature is unable to download shows from the DVR. It prepares them, but then gets stuck in "Waiting To Download" and doesn't even begin the download process.

The name on my billing info was spelled wrong. Any way that can be changed online? I've tried a couple times and I keeps saying it doesn't match the zip code provided. All I need is the first name changed, that's it lol

Hello, I was just trying out the new 4K channel and when I selected one of the preview videos, it started to download, then when it began to play it said my TV is not 4K, so the video will be displayed in 1080p. My TV is 4K and the installer tested it. Also the video kept buffering and said I needed to check my internet speed. I have 300mbps coming in, that's pretty fast....

I have to restart receiver everytime I turn on tv because there's no sound on any of the channels. When you do this, you have to stop all your shows you are recording. That really stinks. Why don't I have sound??

And did not record last night's X-Files. Is this a known problem? Does DirecTV have staff that reviews these forums or do I need to report this to them? The fix was to unplug and plug back in the receiver. Pretty disappointed that this thing has already failed in less than 1 week!

In September of 2015, the HDMI out on my Genie receiver stopped working. Tech support told me it was a known software issue. I received an email 2 weeks ago from DTV stating my "escalation" had been closed. I then tried the HDMI again (was using comp video, on my Samsung, about a 6 year of TV). It still doesn;'t work. i currently have old equipment that is probably 10 years old. can i have new updated equipment sent to me free of charge or do i have to order new equipment and pay for it? does a serviceman have to come and install or can i install the new dvr/receivers myself? thanks! Denise
