I just had 2 C41W-500 wireless Genies installed and they work great . I als have 2 RC66RX remotes and would like to switch from R to RF but that option does not appear in the settings. Is that not available for this combination?

We just had a day of wet, sticky snowfall and my dish is coated. At first, I was getting the "signal lost" messages on certain channels but now it looks like the receiver (Genie) has figured out what is going on because I'm getting the SD version of any channel I tune to. I don't remember this ever happening before. Is this a new feature? Will it know to revert back to HD...

From Atkinson New Hampshire. Had snow yesterday, lost signal for a while, it came back fine, even HD. Then lost power (electricity) for a few hours later, signal never came back, even this morning. Still showing error 771 on all TVs in house. Tried rebooting.

We recently contacted AT&T about a significant increase in our Uverse bill. They suggested we switch to Directv service. I have an HR44-200. Installed 12/7/2015. Have Charter internet in house (2 stories + basement). Router located in basement. While watching our DIRECTV, the system randomly locks up or freezes for 10-30 seconds. When it finally unfreezes, it has skipped part of the show. If I try to fast forward or reverse it, it locks up again. This is day 3 of this issue. Do I need an equipment upgrade?
