Hello everyone! I am new to directtv and kept seeing notices about the enhanced functionality if you connect your DVR to the internet. Why do I have to pay $49.99 for a technician to come out and fix this error after doing all the trobleshooting on my own and with a customer service agent. When will the Genie on demand feature be fixed on these recievers? Why would you send out recievers that do not work? I was told by Tec support they do not know.

Need someone to give phone number. Not the one usually used 1800-531-5000. We were treated rudely and sent us boxes and we didn't cancel. Bad customer service. My wife cried about the service. Can the Closed Caption (CC) button in the Info section be moved back where it was. I hardly ever use CC and was used to clicking once to get to Last 4. Am I the only one that is bothered by this?

When listening to music on the Sonic channels (8xx) the sound fades out regularly when it is in the mode where the smaller window of information is floating around the screen. Once in this mode, the sound fades out every couple of minutes. What is causing this? Do I need to replace the DirecTV box? This only seems to happen to the Sonic channels. I am now on my third HR44 from DTV. I am experiencing a repeating problem where the picture on the HR44 and C41 freezes or goes white screen. I reboot the HR44 and all is good. Approximately 12 - 24 hours later it happens again.
