TV apps - not returning results - but network connected

anyone have this issue?  It's been happening for over 2 wks for me.  I right arrow - and it says loading apps and to wait- then i get the following:

1) apps not available at this time

2) no response at all

Press and hold the DASH button does it come back as internet connected?

yes - says internet is connect...

Have you tried a red button reset behind the access card door?

tech support told the Direct TV serviceman who came that I have to open ports 1701, 8080, 8082, 8843 to get TV APPS working.  all other internet connects work (on demand, youtube, the music).  so why would only TV APPS not work?

so what are the right ports of another person was told 710 for on demand?   (netgear gateway).

yes I have the same problem also my Genie to go stopped working

suddenly is working... and i didn't do anything.
