Setting Default Channel on DirectTV App


Setting Default Channel on DirectTV App

When I open my App it’s always on CNN and half of the time I can’t get it to stop playing the voice and I’m hearing both CNN and the channel I’m watching.


How can I get it to either start on another default channel and/or get it to not play anything until I select the channel I want to watch?

Thank you for reaching out to us here, we'd love to help you with your DIRECTV App concern!  To get started, we suggest that you uninstall the App, clear cache on device and then reinstall the App.

Also we suggest that you change the default channel by selecting the blue circle next to the channel you wish to be your default channel. You can find more detailed explanation in the Forum Solution by clicking Solved! Go to Solution. Hope this helps!
