A Directv rep provided the download info for each of my Genie 2 receivers which had separate activation codes. App downlaoded and activated easily, but the local market is incorrect. When I activated the first Genie it setup NY as the local market. After activating the second Genie both were set to DC. I am in the Phila market and cannot figure out how to change it. When I log into Locast from a computer it picks up Phila and works appropriately. Any suggestions? DirecTV customer service was of no help and the Chat line has been busy on more than 6 contact attempts.

We are happy to help you link your local channels to your DIRECTV app. You will need to Register your device to your Genie. Click the link, and detailed steps will be provided. Let us know if this loads the correct local channels for you. We are happy to further assist.

This is unreal. Even though you can watch cbs live on this app. You still can’t access the recorded cbs shows such as DR,.Phil !!! off my DVR 😫😫
Are we going to be able to watch these shows later and play them from the recordings list on my DVR when and if we get CBS back ?? !

CBS removing the feed has nothing to do with watching previously recorded CBS programs however CBS has removed access to their On Demand servers.
