As of yesterday afternoon 3/5/19 I can no longer access my direct TV app on my IPod or IPad . I have been using this app for years ! It tells me to update app yet won't allow update - what's happening

DTV has also removed the ability to stream from your Genie.
.... when you're out-of-home network. You can still stream from your DVR if you're connected to the same network as your Genie DVR.

Is this going to be permanent? Why would you not be able to stream unless at home?? I only use it when not at home, I’m regretting my switch from Dish Netword every.single.day
