DirecTV App Questions/Problems

Please forgive me if these are stupid questions...

 

1.  The only tv shows you can cast to a tv with the DirecTV App are the ones with a cast symbol by it, right?

 

2.  Whenever I try to watch a channel from the “Browse For TV” channels, I get an error message saying that I must be connected to the same network as my receiver.  I’m positive my tablet and receiver are on the same wireless network, so why do I get this message?

 

3.  Not all the channels in the “Browse For TV” section are available in the “Watch On iPad” section, correct?

We're happy to help you here! To get started, the answer to your first question is Yes. The DIRECTV App with your mobile device must be connected to the Same WiFi network as your receiver and wireless router. Please note that if you have  DIRECTVNow, you can also cast to a TV using a Chromecast.

On the TV I will click on other showings. It always comes up with a message that says there are no matching programs at this time. Can somebody please help me with this problem?
