1998 is when I first subscribed to Directv and the NFL Sunday Ticket. It has expanded its services, and its price over the years. I still enjoy it, but question the money I spend on it. I want to watch "Shortcuts" on my pc and can't find it on the directv.com website. The forums suggest it is only availabe on the app. The websites still say I can watch on my computer (Not app based) and is windows 7 with chrome compatible. Yet now video. It did work on Sunday for the main viewing, so there is that.
As to watching on an app. I'm okay with that, but when I tried 3 times to watch it on my phone. (Samsung Note 3) the video was choppy and failed at about 15 min into the viewing. So, what is a guy to do but call Directv. where I have no been for 40 min with 2 people (waiting on a 3rd) who seem to not even know what "NFL Sunday Ticket" is, much less understand my question of "Where to find it on the Directv.com website"
Please AT&T for the love of your profits, fix this. I might just have to go to NFL.com, and pay for their services instead. At least I know they are committed to having the games shown.

So I can't watch Shortcuts on my laptop because the "watch now" button has dissapeared from the ad banner at directv.com/nfl. With no other option, I try the mobile app on a smartphone & on a tablet with dismal results. Yes, I uninstalled the mobile app and reinatalled it only to get the same dismal result. It buffers, the sound is out of sync with the video, the picture quality is poor, it only streams 1 out of every 4 times I try to view it, and the scrubber bar is useless!
The worst issue of all is that the final scores are on every game chip!
THIS IS A HUGE DEALBREAKER!!!
Why bother wasting 30 minutes of your day watching a Shortcut if you already know who has won the game?
Now I bought a 73" tv to view the football games on the big screen in 1080P HD with digital audio. Not on a 4" or a 7" mobile device with who knows what resolution and tinny, compressed garbage for audio! With no other choice, I go to the A/V store & plunk down $50 for an adapter to connect my mobile device to my 73" tv via HDMI & it was terrible as expected.
What gives ATT, why are you messing up a good thing for DirecTV? I used to be able to DVR the Shortcuts and view them whenever I had 30 minutes to spare throughout the week. I even paid you for a GenieGo so I could take the games with me on my laptop when I wasn't able to be at home to view them.
At the very least, please fix the laptop stream before week 2 begins so I can turn off the game scores (MOST IMPORTANT) & try connecting it to my 73" tv in hopes that the quality will be improved over the worthless mobile solutions.

Ok, so I just signed up for a free 1 wek trial of NFL Game Pass and it works flawlessly on my laptop. I can plug my HDMI cable in to my laptop, the video/audio quality is superb, there is a toggle to turn off the final game scores, and they too have condensed games just like the DirecTV Shortcuts but better! You can also view the Sunday & Monday night games in condensed format. I will try this Game Pass out until my trial is almost over and if all is well, I will be cancelling my DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket MAX subscription ASAP!

So no short cuts on anything but a mobile device or ipad? I spent much time trying to load the app on my mac, only to find out the app doesn't work on a MAC air. Thanks Directv CS for telling me to download the app to my MAC to watch NFL short cuts.By the way the FAQ is outdated, it still says short cuts are on 705/706
Really don't understand why short cuts are limited to mobile devices. Who is the marketing genius who decided this. Promation is definitly in order for a dumb decsion like this .

App isn't working on my Samsung Galaxy S6. It tells me I cannot live stream with Mock Locations turned on. When I go to settings it isn't turned on. I even turned off all developer options, still won't allow me to live stream.

Is there a way to remove the bottom "Highlights Central" section when watching Sunday Ticket using the Game Mix view? This area is such a huge waste of space. All 4 of the games could be much larger if I were able to remove it. Below is an image showing the area I'm referring to.
Also, another suggestion would be to allow multiple devices to login as long as they have the same IP address. I would like to have a game up on my laptop and my iPad simultaneously.

The main reasons I have NFL Sunday ticket are to:
1. Watch the Steelers, and...
2. Watch the Short Cuts on Monday through Wednesday.
But now I can't find Short Cuts anywhere on my TV!
So I called DirecTV and spoke to 2 agents plus an NFL Sunday Ticket agent. They all told me that Short Cuts was taken off the TV broadcast schedule and is only available online, such as via a computer, phone or tablet.
I didn't buy Sunday Ticket so I could watch on my iPad. I want to see Short Cuts on my 60" TV. So I complained. Loudly, but not obnoxious (I think). Then an agent offered to write up my complaint and send it up the line to her superior.
My point is: All of us who are upset about losing Short Cuts on our TV should call DirecTV and complain, and ask that our complaint be written up and forwarded to someone in authority. Maybe we can bring Short Cuts back to our TVs!

Hello Bill! I'm wondering if you might be able to help out a fellow Steelers fan. I have NFL Ticket (not Max) in the DC market area. My standard receiver died earlier this week. Atn attempt to update to an HD receiver yesterday failed as I don't have the proper line of sight. I had to reschedule and order standard equipment that won't get installed until 10/18. I have an HD antenna up but the local CBS station is showing the Ravens game. Do you happen to know if I will be able to watch the Steelers-Dolphins game on the NFL Sunday Ticket app? I posted a question about this in the forum but have only received one answer and I'm not sure that person fully understood that I have no service on my TV now. I have the app but have never used it, because like many folks here, I like to watch on the big screen. Thanks for any help you can offer!

I just cancelled my NFL Sunday Ticket ... tired of hearing so many players disregarding the National Anthem and disrespecting the country that gave them all the advantages of a college education and a fantastic professional career. Sorry to see it go - I used to love football.

Sadly, I just cancelled my subscription to NFL Sunday Ticket. I'm tired of seeing so many players (apparently with the support of their management organizations and the NFL) disregard the National Anthem and actively show disrespect for the country that gave them a college education and a fantastic professional career - not to mention the opportunities they have for multi-million dollar endorsements and lucrative long-term possibilities. I used to love NFL football.
