DIRECTV App Starts and Stops Download

I have an ongoing problem downloading recorded tv shows/movies to my iphone.  I start a download and it begins and successfully downloads "some" of my selections.  

Then it stops downloading.  Most times when I reboot my receiver I can begin again, but usually only 1 time without having to reboot again.     Help!

Hi @TedroK,

 

Sorry for your issue. Please try resetting your receiver using the red button near the access card.  

If that doesn't help, try deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV App.

Thanks for the response.  I do re-set the receiver every time I can't download programs but that does become a bit of an issue.One question-  I do have a number of programs downloaded currently to my IPhone.  If I delete the app and reinstall, will I lose the programs already present on my phone?

Thanks!  After my trip I did delete the app from my IPhone and downloaded the app and it's now working fine.
