I currently have direct TV and just got the premium channel (HBO)
i tried watching a show on HBO on my direct tv app, it’d say “
HBO On Demand is not available with your current programming package. You can enjoy this and many other programs by upgrading your programming at Directv.com”
So then I decided to download the HBO GO app and watch it through there, and it would also say “we are having problems verifying your access to HBO GO through your provider. It appears your direct tv subscription does not have HBO.”
I have called directTV to verify I had HBO and they did say yes. I can watch it on my TV. I do have internet access. So I don’t understand why I can’t watch it on my phone.
We understand how frustrating not being able to sign in can be, but not to worry we're here to help! You will want to create your new AT&T Access ID and add your DIRECTV account under that access ID in order to sign into your DIRECTV app. Follow the steps listed in this AT&T Access ID support article to get started.
