App not working

I have been using the Direct TV app.for more than a year. The last 2 months or so it no longer works. I can not access my DVR unless I'm home. I can download content and then watch it but not just use it away from home.

Correct. The App was "updated" last month and no longer supports streaming from your Genie DVR when you're not at home. You must download recordings to view them out-of-home.
