I am able to get into the ATT account with the Welcome Screen, but when I select My Directv and start watching now the webscreen wraps around to https://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/login/login.jsp. I get the message
I have spent hours on the phone with 5-6 ATT customer service reps all completely clueless, they pass you along to various departments all with no idea of what to do other than "try resetting the password" which doesnt do anything. I've called teh 1 800 988 4642 and after 30 minutes... they STILL dont have an answer other than reset password.
Can ANYONE at ATT or Directv solve this??? Is there a number for a higher level tech support for digital online access at Directv?

We'd love to help you here! Do you have an AT&T Access ID? Is your DIRECTV account linked? We suggest that you make sure you are using the correct Access ID and password.

This has been going on for over a year. Several months ago I was told to just choose AT&T U-verse as the TV provider even though it is technically DirecTV. This works allows me to authenticate to all of the streaming providers that I have tried, however ESPN cannot confirm that their services are part of my TV package because I don't technically have U-Verse.
So AT&T has a ticket open with the "back office" to try and figure out why my DirecTV access is being locked out. I reset my password and upon first login it is locked out. When DirecTV was a standalone account, the email/Access ID used was completely different from what I'm using with for AT&T combined account so I don't think it's old credentials cached somewhere doing this.

directv and uverse are 2 total different entities and services same difference as cell phones and landlines
