Trying to get extension/payment arrangement and have been told different things by different groups.

Trying to get extension/payment arrangement and have been told different things by different groups.

I've contacted both the phone and online chat versions of DirecTV over the past couple days. I understand that I was given the maximum 14 days extension on my service interruption date, but CenturyLink, my internet provider, allowed me to give credit card number to submit a payment to be taken out in a few days, and with this agreement, I was allowed to keep my service. I asked if this was possible with DirecTV through their online chat service, and was assured I would be able to, and that my online conversation would be noted on my file. I expressed concern that the phone representative wouldn't cooperate, but the online representative assured me if i called the phone person would help me and would be able to keep my service from being interrupted. So I called the number and spoke with a representative who told me the wouldn't be able to set this up. I expressed frustration as the chat person told me I could if I called. The phone representative then proceeded to tell me that between the two of us she would do what she could to make this happen, but then came back on the line and told me she couldn't. I told her I was frustrated that I was lied to by the chat representative, and she had said our conversation would be in my notes. Phone representative noted she saw no notes. I told her I had screenshots of the chat as well as a copied version of the entire chat because I was afraid this would happen. She then told me she would send an email to me, confirmed my email, and then I could send her the screenshots. I have yet to get an email and feel like I was told this just to get me off the phone. At this point I am hesitant to do business with a company that continues to lie to me. Please help.

@Teresalee, we're customers like you, so can't do this for you.  You need to call DirecTV .... 1 800 531 5000

Please read the previous posts in this thread.  Nobody here can grant you an extension.
