When AT&T moved the online DIRECTV experience to att.com, my parents were a bit confused. As they always do, they came to me with questions. I was able to show them around att.com since I’ve used it for my services like mobile and internet.
After helping them I thought, “what about the other customers who are not familiar with att.com? Who would help them?” That’s when I decided to write a little something to help guide everyone through new DIRECTV experience on att.com.
First thing first, sign into your DIRECTV account via att.com. After a few moments, you will see the new layout. I posted some screenshots below. You will list some of the service I have like DIRECTV & Internet.
Below are some of the cool things you can do from this page like:
View a summary of your services all at once
View your bill
Make a payment
Manage your plan online
Troubleshoot your service
You will notice a blue (+) icon. This expands to reveal some online options. Tap, or click, on it and you will see your option to:
Manage your plan (upgrade your service)
Troubleshoot your service from the comfort of your home with the AT&T Support Center
You may see a section to upgrade your services as shown in the purple section below.
In my other post this is exactly what I was telling you about when I log into my account. I have been on this since July of this year. On the Manage my plan, hardly anything works on that page or isn't really correct with the info.
