How do I file a complaint against at&t and Directv services? I think they are scamming customers

I decided to choose Directv and at&t services for cable, Internet and phone. March 4th is when they came to install satellite services.March 7th is when I paid a $100 for them to give me an installation date for Internet and phone services. They gave me March 27,2018 as installation date.  (During this time I called to expedite my services but they couldn't give an earlier date)  March 27 came and no one appeared to install services.  I called throughout the day asking if there was an issue.  They said the order are behind and they would get to me before the day is over. By nightfall no one appeared and I spoke to someone who said  someone will come the next day March 28, 2018. Next day around 11:15 someone appears but they aren't hear to install Internet and phone services,  but about satellite. While he was here I called and let them know the guy said he doesn't install Internet and phone services. They talked around for about 30 minutes and finally told me someone will be here between 1-3. After a couple of hours I checked status under my account and saw that the services says it was closed. I called and explained everything about 5 times until someone said I'd have to open another account and start services over and the next available date for install was April 11, 2018. They would give a better times so I told them I don't want any of the services and a refund. They then told me for me to disconnect Directv I would have to pay for early disconnect fee. Why do I have to do this if they breached their contract and never provided the services when promised?

I ordered at&t internet and Direct Tv on June 18 2018 and the soonest  installation date I could get was not until June 26th.  The said someone would be out between 9-11 at 10:50 I received a text saying they would not be here on time.  I called and was given another window of 1-3  and as of 3:30 have not had any phone call, text or anyone show up.  Since no other company provides service to this area people are stuck and the co.pany feels like they can treat customers with no respect.

I have had great success filing a complaint against DIRECTV with the FCC

In the case of DIRECTV, I received a reply from the vice presidents office in less than 48 hours

 

I recently filed a complaint against my ISP, CenturyLink. It has been 5 days, no reply. But the company must reply to FCC within 30 days, so they are within bounds

I have had DTV for years and the AT&T takes over.

I have autopay via my DEBIT bank card.

Card expired.

I have spent so much time trying to update the info on my account that I am finished trying. I swear I feel like they pulled my name and put it on a list of people to screw with.

2 different browsers. I put in DTV on one and it goes to AT&T login. I do not have AT&T phone so that is useless.

On the 2nd it still goes to DTV login. I have had the same login and password since day one. They no longer work.

No one on either the AT&T or DTV chat has can do anything, So many clueless people in one place.

So I guess my bill will never be paid and the collection agencies will be calling and they will be recorded and ignored. Eventually I will have to go to court and I am looking forward to it. The service is way too expensive to begin with and their "support" service is terrible. But they are the only game in town.

AT&T just moved DirecTV accounts under AT&T, so you need to create a new account for your DirecTV services at AT&T's site.

OK. Someone tell me how to create a new login. I do not and will not have an ATT phone, so that is out. I keep getting a locked out because of too many attempts. I have been to every possible login or registration site I can find and there is no help. Why can't one of your customer clients do a simple thing like make it possible for me to login and pay my bill. A simple thing like a login and no one can help. I did not change a thing and have been a DTV customer for years, you changed it, not me. If you still can't figure it out then start sending me a paper billing in the mail, is that simple enough? I am trying to pay my bill for God's sake.

I signed up for ATT/DirectTV on Tuesday, 08/21/2018.  I was given an appointment time for installation for 08/23/2018.  No one arrived, not even a call to notify me.  I called the following day and I was given a second appointment time for 08/29/2018.  Again no one arrived.  When I called, I was told that the tech cancelled my appointment.  Of course, my billing cycle has started for a service I am not receiving.  This is absolutely ridiculous.  I've had to take off from work just so I can be home for these planned installation appointments.  As we speak, I have been on hold with AT&T because for some miraculous reason I am not reaching the correct department despite me calling the phone number I was given to use.  Where can I file a complaint?  Can someone here help with this matter??

My complaint is tech keeps cancelling my install appointment.  I can' t reach anyone who can answer why the appointment is yet again cancelled.  I have no cable and am being billed for a service I don't have.

@catherinegarc, print off the dispute form. fill it out, and send it along with a formal complaint letter. unfortunately if you are looking for more answers on the forum this is a customer to customer forum. no one high up within ATT is found here that will be able to help you. Despite the fact i'm an employee, I have no access to your account or information.
