Customer Service Issue

Customer Service Issue

I'm very disappointed with the customer service I received today. I was led to believe that "the NFL Sunday Ticket" would be offered to me at no cost, instead it was billed to my account at the full monthly rate, this was done without authorization from me. Furthermore, I’m unclear why it was not even offered at a reduced rate. I have been a customer of AT&T/DIRECTV for over 15 years and have never been more disappointed with AT&T/DIRECTV’s customer service. I guess that over 15 years of loyalty to your organization does not count for much in the current business environment, you would rather chase new customers who can receive the NFL Sunday Ticket. In addition, I was in the process of leaving AT&T/DIRECTV when I received the call from one of your representatives to stay. I'm not sure I will be making that choice again. After making several phone calls to customer service, I feel more frustrated than before. I will keep your services for now. But please understand that streaming is the future of TV services, Apple, Roku, YouTube TV, sling just to name a few. When 5G gets implemented in my area I see no further need for any of your services. I was ready to cut the cord before and have no reason to stick with AT&T/DIRECTV after my current contract expires.

It appears that I'm not in the preferred customer category since one of my neighbors received the NFL Sunday Ticket at no cost.

Hello @Athena9,

that's not the experience we want anyone to have, let's see what we can do. I'll be inviting you to a PM (private message) to further investigate. Please look in your inbox for a message from me.
