We decided to switch from Comcast to Directv. This was the biggest mistake I have made! On October 25, 2017, I was promised a Visa Reward Card, along with a $100 credit for my inconvenience. I called back a few days later to check on the status, and they are claiming they have no record of it. On my recent activity, there is a line that says "Cash Back Offer." I explained that to the lady today, November 14, 2017, and she basically implied I was a liar. She said she was stating facts. I am a professional, and I do not feel like I was treated like I should have been. I am very upset with Directv, and at this point, unless something changes, I am not sure I will be renewing service with them. When I go to the reward center online, a page pop up that says "server happy." Not sure what this is about, but I would like to receive what I was promised. I may need to contact the Better Business Bureau!!!

I'm regret to hear about the issue you are having receiving your Visa Gift Card. I am definitely saddened to hear about how the rep treated you. We don't want to hear any of our customers are not being helped!

I sent a private message to @attcares the next day, and I still have not received a response. My next course of action will be to contact the attorney general.

I also have apparently been scammed. Though we established a new account in August under the conditions that we'd get a $200 gift card and the NFL Sunday Ticket for a year, we originally got neither of those things. We had to call DirecTV repeatedly until we finally got the football in the third week, and I still cannot track down any gift card. Very disappointed about what appears to be a bait and switch scam.

Same thing just happened to us. We switched from Dish to Direct Tv we were told we would receive a $100 gift card as well. My girlfriend spent the last 2 days on the phone asking where the gift card is. She was told we don’t qualify for the gift card. Sounds like a bunch of crap to me and why were we told we would get the gift card if we didn’t qualify.

I also was promised a gift card and was told it would be sent to me within 4 weeks and it is now 8 weeks and I have yet to see it! I will definitely not be renewing my service with them.. Even though I pay less then spectrum I will definitely be going back to them.. I don’t get have half the channels I got with my old cable provider and my internet was way better!! This internet service it horrible. Extremely slow

Very unhappy at this point one week in!!! Had Direct TV five years ago they were great. Server Happy does not tell me if I will be receiving the gift card for $200. This experience has been very different than my first. I hope to receive a response as I had high hopes on switching back to direct TV from Xfinity.

Add me to the list of people that have been scammed by Direct tv. Was promised a $200 VISA gift card if I enrolled in Direct T.v. with internet. I enrolled in August, and it's now February and I still have not received my VISA gift card. I called the rewards center to inquire on my gift card, and because my account was opened up over 4 months ago, they no longer have the ability to "look up my account" therefore there's nothing they can do, the lady on the phone which was extremely rude pretty much told me to go pound sand.
On top of that my bill is all over the place and is never consistent month to month. I highly advise to stay away from DirecTV! 90% of all the people I talk to on the phone are extremely rude and have no customer service skills whatsoever . As soon as my contract is up I'm out and going back to Spectrum.

@EddieZ have you gone to the rewards center and claimed your card? unfortunately at this point its probably expired, if thats the case maybe you can send a private message to attdimitry in the post above. here is the link to claim your reward card, unfortunately the customer isnt always informed of the need to claim the card

And it likely would have, had you claimed it online. Sometimes they forget the details.
