I need Help in quoting a reply

I was in the DirecTV forum and I had trouble with the reply options of their board.

This one appears different , I will ask for help anyway.

When replying to a thread, I am accustomed to having a reply/quote input button that was not available to me.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks for your help.

I just came from the HughesNet community forum. also lithium board

so I thought they would be the same........... wrong

It has something to do with reply window floating to the bottom of the posts.

In the HughesNet forum, the reply button opens up an edit box right under the post we are replying to. Then the "quote" operates correctly.

So I thing some of the features are disabled here and others are enabled there.

We tried......
