Why is ATT so incompetent ? Why can't I unlock my Z10 blackberry with the unlock code ATT provided

March of this year, I asked for my phone to be unlocked.  About 4 different agents got involved and I finally got the unlock code for my Blackberry z10.  But it did not work -  I tried if 5 times with 5 different agents and the counter, that permits only 10 attempts counted down.  So many of the agents had no idea what they were doing.

So I took it into an ATT store, they tried and they were unable to do anything, That was in May.

 

Nobody has the slightest idea what the problem is, every time you get a new agent who says "dont worry I can fix this" and invariably they cant fix anything.  They just waste my time and my counter goes down another unit.

 

Then I go to the UK again and they charge me $17.60 for  8 MB of data .  really ??

 They know how to squeeze dollars from the customer but have no idea how to follow up, to fix a problem and to even READ the notes on the account,

@at_tbberry  If the phone was ever repaired the imei may not match.   Type *#06# and see if that imei matches the one shown in settings.

Well it seems my posts and private messages are falling on deaf ears.  Is anyone doing anything about this ?

Or do I have to escalate this much deeper into AT&T ?
