Are you still in India or are you currently in the US? Are you using the phone on the AT&T network?
If you are in the US and using AT&T service on the phone, you can update the software directly through the phone or have the software flashed at a Device Support Center (DSC). They can provide you with free technical support.
To check for an update on the phone, you will need to:
Make sure your device is sufficiently charged and connected to Wi-Fi.
From the apps tray, tap Settings.
Scroll down to and select About Phone > System Updates > Check for updates.
Follow the on-screen prompts to download and install the update.
The device automatically restarts once the new software successfully installs.
