Blackberry has already said its direct sales only. To keep the 299 price BB could not sell thru the carriers. Its just a rebadged Alcatel Idol 4 with BB software. TCL is making it for them.

So all requisite OS updates will be via Blackberry instead of AT&T? That'll be Great! No more waiting on this carrier for important updates; especially for Android OS required updates. That will make me a happy camper!
