iPhone xs max voicemail full error

All vmail deleted on phone and still unable to receive voicemail as continues to say it is full.

Is there a way to delete voicemail on the at&t website? Or how do I fix this issue?

Re: iPhone xs max voicemail full error

Hey there @mommykcd12!

Try resolving your voicemail experience by scrolling to the bottom of the Visual Voicemail app and select Deleted Messages. Make sure to swipe from right to left on any messages present and press Delete to clear the stored recordings.

We hope this info helps!

Re: iPhone xs max voicemail full error

Hi,

I have deleted all messages including the already deleted messages.  I am left with a screen that simply says "No Voicemails".  There is nothing else on the screen except at the top right where the greeting option is in blue.  Yet, when my phone is called it immediately tells the caller my mailbox is full and cannot accept messages at this time.  I have turned the phone off and on.  Please help.

Re: iPhone xs max voicemail full error

My fiancé's phone (Apple XS as well) recently started giving the voicemail full message within the last 30 days.  I had him delete all messages and it worked but eventually I received the message again.  This time I deleted all his voicemail and then deleted everything from the "deleted messages" folder as well so the device should have no voicemails residing on it.  However, it has still given this message.  I have tested by calling the phone when he is on it (i.e. busy) and got the message and then called again instructing him to not pick up (i.e. unanswered).  In both cases, the message was given.  There is not a valid reason for this message from the device perspective that I can analyze from the user perspective.

This should not be a problem with overall device memory or space either.  He is not a power user and should have memory/space to spare.  He is an older gentleman who does not install apps or downloads anything.  His idea of "streaming" is catching trout in a creek  so trust me, he's not doing any heavy using.

Any suggestions on where to look next or what to do to remedy this situation?   THANKS!

Re: iPhone xs max voicemail full error

I am having the same issue and obviously already deleted the deleted messages. That’s the only solution that AT&T seems to be giving out but it’s a deeper problem as mine has not been fixed.
