iPhone 7 phone calls
iPhone 7. Can make and receive calls but can’t hear the other person and they can’t hear me. Can use phone using Bluetooth in car. Tried iPhone head phones and that didn’t work. Did a hard restart and it fixed it for less than 24hours. Anyone have any solutions?

Hi, @Morath99,
Let's take a look at these calls. When you take your iPhone away from the car, are you turning off the Bluetooth connection? It could be switching back and forth, trying to make a Bluetooth connection when none is available, before trying to reconnect with the network on the call. That could be the cause of the disruption.
If you backed up your data through iCloud or iTunes before this started, go ahead and restore from there and see if that resolves the issue. You can also place the iPhone into safe mode. If you can make a call in safe mode, then an app is the cause of your audio issue. You can place the device in safe mode by:
If these steps don't help, let us know so we can investigate further.

i had the same problem, calls would show up and i would answer but i couldn't hear them and they couldn't hear me. The car had bluetooth calling so i switched off bluetooth and rebooted phone, not sure if rebooting was necessary or not, tried a phone call and everything is working fine now, I'll also turned bluetooth on again and the calls are still working.
