iPhone 4S as a pay as you go
I have a iPhone 4S and want to use it for my daughter as a pay-as-you-go phone. Is that possible? If so, do I need to take it into a AT&T store to get this service on the phone?

Yes it is possible to run the iPhone 4s on a go phone, as long as it was an att version or an unlocked gsm phone. All you need to do is head to a store and they can test it out and get you and your daughter up and running! Hope this helps!
