Hey there!
Try resolving your experience by forcing a restart of your Apple iPhone X. Simply press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Next, press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.
Additionally, you may want to try restoring your device to its factory settings.
