i phone x screen flipping between apps without touching

The screen just starts moving back and forth on its own and the home thing doesn't work when trying to flip it up to close

None of the things in the troubleshooter worked or didn’t apply to the problem but thanks

Hey there!

 

Try resolving your experience by forcing a restart of your Apple iPhone X. Simply press and quickly release the Volume Up button. Next, press and quickly release the Volume Down button. Finally, press and hold the Side button until you see the Apple logo.

 

Additionally, you may want to try restoring your device to its factory settings.
