You can file an insurance claim, pay off the $200 to upgrade, do a shared upgrade if your have one eligable line, or start a new line of service and when you get your new phone us on old line

Depending on what's broken, you could go to Apple and pay for an out of warranty repair.  It may be less than $100 depending upon what's broken.

Customers can always buy a phone at full price and continue to pay on your Next installments.

You might be able to fix the phone.  Or buy a replacement on eBay.

You might also pick up a low cost unlocked phone at Best Buy.  I was surprised how many nice unlocked phones they had,  from $60-$400.
