Caller ID is an excellent feature, which allows you identify who is calling. I will be more than happy to help you correct this!
To update the name displaying for each mobile number on your wireless account, please follow these instructions:
· Log in to your account here
· Go to Profile > Account users
· Select the number you wish to update
· Select Edit
· Enter the desired information and select Continue

I have the same problem. However, when I follow the steps suggested by @attcares, I find that the my information is correct in my account profile. It is just in the past week or so that people are telling me that the wrong name is coming up. How can I ask att to repopulate the caller ID database ?

I am sorry about the issues. If you are noticing this issue with other providers, then it will be up to the other provider to update their caller ID data base. Usually, it is pretty fast, but sometimes can take a few weeks. If you notice the information showing wrong when calling AT&T numbers, it can take a few days to update, but if still having problems, please reach out to us by sending a private message. Be sure to include your name, account number, and a good number to reach you.

When I try to edit my first name using this procedure, I get the error message
Plz do not enter profane word. (UUP12)

Did either of you who are getting the "profane" message get around this? I have the same issue and yes it is our last name. I have tried to contact ATT multiple times but they just ignore me. Need to find someone in the group that manages the website to fix this but finding them has been impossible. Its been like this for months.
