Would A1442 work?
I have a new A1442 iPhone 5 (China) model. Would this model work with an AT&T network?

Probably not. That is a CDMA model of the iPhone, rather than the GSM/LTE version supported by AT&T. It doesn't support LTE or CDMA EV-DO, and it may be SIM-locked to the Chinese CDMA carrier. You can refer to this site for more information - http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/iphone/iphone-faq/differences-between-iphone-5-models.html
