When will the iPhone X definitely be in AT&T stores?

I plan on getting the iPhone X at my local AT&T store and I know release day has already come and gone, but to my understanding no AT&T stores in my area have any phones in stock and all the phones are only in Apple stores right now. I didn't do preorder because I will be traveling during the estimated delivery dates. I prefer to purchase the phone before December 15th when I leave town for the holidays and won't be back until the new year. I know I could go into my local store by trial and error continuously, but I'd rather not waste my time doing that and just know when they will actually be there so I can go pick one up. Does anyone know when it won't be guessing game if it's there?

Mid January.

It’s expected to be a hot seller till after the holidays.   Try Best Buy and if yuo go away, have your mail held at the PO.

Wow! Really? That long?? I need it before December 15th because my current iPhone is honestly a piece of garbage and won't survive until then. It doesn't stay charged and its gets very hot, very fast. I have to treat it like a landline and keep it plugged in all the time or it dies and considering I need it for work, on the go all the time, this is not good. At my local store they said sometime in December, so it's surprising to hear mid-January. Is there any other store I can get the iPhone X at while still signing up to make payments on it through AT&T? That's why I want to get it at the AT&T store, so I can sign up to make payments through them

My store didn’t get any iPhone Xs either.
