Voicemail unavailable could not authorize access
I set up voicemail, complete with PIN and outgoing message, and now it won’t let me in. I have one vm in que, and it is asking me to setup my voicemail. It then gives me the error message above. This is a brand new IPhone XR

Hello @IHateApples,
We're here to help! We recommend resetting your voicemail password before we proceed with troubleshooting. You can complete the process online from your myAT&T account rather than from your device since you are currently experiencing issues with accessing your voicemail. Just go to My wireless, select a device, and select Manage device & features. Then, select Reset voicemail password.

I am getting the same message. I tried resetting the voicemail and still got the message could not authorize. I also tried resetting the network settings & turning my phone off

I called customer service and my issue was resolved.
1. Press Phone - on the home page
2. Press Voicemail- on the Right lower corner
3. Press the number "1" and hold for a few secs.
4. You will hear an instructions and provide your new 8digits PIN.
