My friend has an iphone 5se from verizon and would like to switch to at&t. Would that phone be compatible with the at&t network?

There is no such phone.

There is an iphone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 plus, 6s, 6s plus, SE and 7, 7 plus.   All these Verizon phones will work of ATT.

A Verizon iPhone 5S will work just fine on ATT.

Does that also apply to the 5se?

Ah....that clears up the mystery for me too.  Yes, great little phone and it will work anywhere very well.

The SE will work however features like VOLTE or WiFi calling may not work.

iPhone is exempt from ATT silly limits, which do apply to all other non branded devices.

iPhones are non branded, contain no carrier software out of the box and will work completely as well as an iphone sold as an ATT model.  I had the iPhone 6 Plus from Verizon which had both HD voice and wifi calling.  These are postpaid only features.  If used on Gophone,  no phone of any carrier or brand gets HD voice or wifi calling.

Great! Now all we have to do is figure out how to get out of the Verizon contract, hopefully with a few cents left.Smiley Tongue
