Let's look at your unlock request. Please read things to know about unlocking a device with AT&T. If it's within 14 days of your uncle's upgrade, it might not let the unlock request go through until he's past the buyer's remorse period. If it's past that time period, go ahead and place another unlock request. If you still receive the device is not paid off message again, you may need to reach out to your uncle and have him check with us so the iPhone can be unlocked.
